How do I use the tallo?

Warm a small amount with your fingertips & apply sparingly - You'll see a little goes a long way. We suggest using twice a day - when you wake up, and just before bed. It's for use on face & body, great to put on after a shower, and before putting on make up. External use only, discontinue if irritation occurs.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our products are made with simple, natural ingredients and are suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, some people may be sensitive or allergic to certain essential oils, so we always recommend performing a patch test before first use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if needed.

Does your tallow have a beefy smell?

No! We use organic, grass-fed suet (the prized fat of the cow), and after a triple refine & render you have smooth, pure, clean tallow. You'll be amazed at the difference compared to other brands :)

Does it clog pores?

No, as well-rendered tallow is considered to have a low to moderate comedogenic rating and is naturally rich in skin-friendly fatty acids that closely resemble the oils (sebum) our skin produces. Many people, including those with normal, dry, and combination skin, find that tallow absorbs well without leaving a heavy, greasy feeling. That said, everyone's skin is unique. If you have very oily or acne-prone skin, we recommend performing a patch test first and introducing any new skincare product gradually to see how your skin responds.
